Broker/President of Greener Globe Realty Group

“A Wellness Lifestyle Real Estate Company”

Cynthia McGuire brings something very special to all her clients. As Broker and President of Greener Globe Realty Group, a Wellness Lifestyle Real Estate company, she provides her clients with in-depth knowledge of how to increase value of properties through making them eco-friendly and healthier to live in, plus knowledge of the impact of a coastal forces and geography on property structures and values.

First an agent, now an experienced residential and investment real estate broker, Cynthia has been licensed to sell real estate in Florida since 2013. Before that, she bought and sold properties both in the US and abroad for nearly two decades.

Here in Boca Raton, Cynthia is one of only a handful of Realtors who have earned a GREEN Designation from the National Association of Realtors. That training has given her the knowledge and tools to help clients make their homes energy-efficient: retrofits, remodels, renovations and even new home construction—thus increasing the value of the real estate. A recent national study by the real estate brokerage REDFIN reported that green improvements can increase the price of certain properties up to as much as $33,000 above their median sales price.

Cynthia is also known for her efficiency and creativity in serving her clients and meeting their exact needs. She has strong negotiating skills earned through management experience that ensure that all clients get the most for their properties when they sell, or the best price when they buy.

In 2018, due to her commitment to the creation of resource-efficient homes, Cynthia was asked to sit on the Board of Directors of Smart Growth Partnership/Florida, a national organization dedicated to educating the public about the bigger issues involved in the creation of livable, sustainable, environmental-friendly, green communities in South Florida. In addition, she was appointed to the Florida Realtors’ Board of Directors, and will start serving her term in 2019.

Cynthia also buys and sells many properties to those not yet ready to consider eco-friendly features or other environmental issues. This is no impediment to her; she is an enthusiastic, far-sighted realtor who is steeped in sales knowledge and admired for her warm and friendly personality, and ability to act quickly to take advantage of changes in the market.

Cynthia also offers her customers investment opportunities in luxury vacation rental properties located in both Orlando and Miami. In addition, she is VP of Millennium Real Estate of South Florida with Ilene Pontillo, who is also VP at Greener Globe Realty Group.

Before settling into her real estate career in south Florida, Cynthia bought, sold and renovated properties in Florida, Georgia, and even Brazil. She also built up strong management skills through a number of corporate positions. These included creating, implementing and running a Business Development Center for a major automotive group in a prototype Toyota dealership, she performed consulting for Fiat in RJ, Brazil in 2008, creating a customer experience program in preparation for their launch into the United States, and juggling multiple projects and teams for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts of S Florida including overseeing the wholesale division. These experiences all utilized Cynthia’s positive personality and ability to work well with her teammates, while at the same time strengthening her management skills and knowledge.

Outside of work, Cynthia serves on the Board of Trustees for Crew Presidential: a California based non-profit organization. This nonprofit, based in Plantation, FL was started by a flight attendant and grew into a large crew of personnel dedicated to flying special missions for causes. Its projects have ranged from flying doctors, nurses, food and water to Haiti after the earthquake, as well as serving hands-on by helping feed the survivors of natural disasters, shipping books, paper and school supplies to a schoolhouse in Fiji and Peru, to helping children with autism become comfortable with flying at their “OPEN SKY FOR AUTISM” annual event held in Los Angeles.

Cynthia makes her home in East Boca Raton, FL. She is the mother of two grown children, and the youngest of 5 siblings. She is an active community volunteer, serves on a number of committees and is a member of the United States Green Builders Association (USGBC). She finds time to enjoy a wide range of hobbies which include hot yoga, healthy cooking, playing the flute, bike riding, trips to the beach and traveling. Cynthia’s enjoyment of Florida’s shoreline may stem from being raised near the Massachusetts shoreline on Cape Cod. She still returns to the Cape often to visit with family, but she is very happy to be living near the ocean in Palm Beach County, where she helps people buy and sell property along Florida’s Gold Coast and beyond.
